Fort Worth ticket broker Cade Ingram, head of Ticket Stock LLC, has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy following accusations of failing to deliver Superbowl tickets that people had ordered from him.
The Fort Worth Star Telegram had previously reported on several people who had contacted the publication, alleging that they ordered tickets to the football game from Ticket Stock, but that Ingram did not deliver.
Ingram reportedly claims that he did order tickets from several retailers, but suspects he did not get them because of the weather. He said he did everything possible to make sure all customers received refunds, but several former customers who contacted the news source say they were not paid back in full or at all.
"My business is completely done. It's ruined my life," Ingram said.
When a consumer files for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, an automatic stay takes effect, which prevents creditors from pursuing any collection action against the debtor, including lawsuits, foreclosures, garnishments and others.
