Shut Up & Save Money

It’s time to stop making excuses and start making a future for yourself.

We all have similar excuses–I bet you can relate at least one of the following common examples of how we waste money.

Knock off one of these bad spending habits and you could start laying a real savings foundation.

  1. Reduce Drinking Dollars: Yes, even those cheaper $3 beers add up. Cut down on your drinking time and you’ll notice deep savings.
  2. Stop Eating Out All the Time: It’s tough balancing work, life and family, but if you start making meals at home and stop ordering carry out during the week, you could potentially save hundreds each month.
  3. Ditch the Car: If you live around public transportation, chances are you don’t need a car. You’ll save a TON by not having to dish out for car & insurance payments, parking, gas, driving and parking fees/fines, sticker fees and repairs and maintenance. If you’re telling yourself that you need a car for groceries or errands, the truth is that it’s cheaper to rent a car for a few hours on the weekend. Stop making excuses and get that car listed on craigslist! (and pay down your credit card with that cash!)
